I have a MAG250 IPTV. I would like to control it using my Philips universal remote control as the remote for the mag250 is too small and prone to getting lost around the house. Manual here . Is this possible? Has anyone accomplished something like this with other universal remotes.? Setup instruction on page 4/7 (4 of pdf/ 7 of manual)

I found a MAG code on page 12/23. The MAG code is 1701. But it doesn't seem to work. The only things I suspect are the source that it falls under. Is it TV, DVR, DVD, CBL, SAT, HD, AUX ? Either that or MAG is something completely different. Please help.
