Curious to those who have (or have used) both which one they like better overall. More importantly, which is more reliable.

I have tried Fab but it was before they revamped. Have also tried Epic. Have Flawless now and prefer it to both due to the way the price it out and the quality of the streams. I'd say it's pretty much the same thing as Fab but maybe just more focused on UK Channels only and better pricing if you just want sports or entertainment alone. Also I can't be sure but I think the streams are better quality, especially the US streams.
Both services are great, i recommend a trial for both to see what is right fit for you. I like Epic because they have the control to fix streams, as they own bunch of the streams. Fab doesn't own there own streams, but they have there own servers ofcourse. Both services had issues a while back, both seem to have gotten better.
Both have excellent reviews, good lineup, great EPG.
I am currently a subscriber of Epicstream, tried Fab a while back, but stayed with Epicstream.
Way more sports, entertainment channels and VOD on FAB. FAB has CSN regionals,Fox Sports regionals, and SC. Not many providers have these options
Really isn’t a comparison imho
Take a trial with both, see what you prefer
Fab 7 days catch up Epic 1 days Fab all devices including mag/stb on one sub Epic if its either Mac or user/pass
But best is take tests, then get a month with one, then if still intrigued, take amonth with another.
There is no "best" as everyones preference will differ, best just trying then doing short sub to really test.
I've tried Epic and Fab.
Fab has better categories. But for me, Epic had a better selection of "Big" channels in HD.
Also, Boxsport Nation is HD on Epic, SD on Fab. (Big plus for Epic)
Both are semi stable.
I've not tried Epic but I would not use Fab I've got an account with them and all I get is buffering at peak times, I've also got an account with Vader through a reseller and the exact same channels via the same VPN works perfectly
MANY FAKE AND FALSE FACTS HAVE BEEN POSTED . WE WILL NOT DEEP INTO THIS AND PUBLICIZE OUR SYSTEMS BUT WILL PROVE AND ANSWER ANY QUESTION ABOUT EPICSPTREAM! PM US
Depends on exactly what you are looking for really. I've been with both Fab and Flawless on more than one occasion, but Fab for me, personally has been the more stable provider, possibly because I can use a MAG box through a VPN with FAB where as Flawless doesn't support MAGs and VPN's so perhaps the instability that I experienced on Flawless was down to my ISP. FAB also has more US/CA Channels and their VOD content is probably the best and most comprehensive that i've seen. FAB are pretty responsive when it comes to answering support tickets, although channel issues seem to have a much lower priority, for example currently there is one channel issue on their forum from 12 hours ago, which hasn't yet even been acknowledged, where as Flawless were generally all over these reports quickly (via Facebook). Fab could also do with a better US/CA provider as some of the US / CA channels buffer like crazy or seem to be down whenever I come to view them, but the UK ones are reliable and stable. But like I say, its not about the best provider, but more about the best provider for YOU (based on what you need).
Long time IPTV user, not so long Reddit user and in fact my first post, so hello everyone!
Tried all the providers and they all have their up's and down's. Each provider at one point in time has went down, and to me communication is vital. The one thing that makes Fabiptv stand out for me is how quickly their customer service responds to tickets. At times you can't refresh your screen that you've got a response. Tell me what other providers can you say gives you service like that?
Rapid (damn that's a long time ago) up and ran at one point, I was £150 out of pocket, no response, no customer support. £150 down the drain. Epic fail to respond when things go bad, yet the only provider I've ever had who acknowledged and responded to me when the shit hit the fan was Fabiptv. Even when I was screaming and shouting at them.
Buffering occurs no matter what, it's the in's and out's of the IPTV industry, it's how quickly it's resolved that gets a gold star. No one I know can beat Fab's customer support. So that's why I'd have to recommend them.
But what works for one person may be completely different for the other. Trial and error is the nature of this game.
