help with ts streams

new member here hoping to get some advice. have tried various IPTV providors namrly FAB, Gears TV, Vaders,BoomBoom etc. my problem is nearly all send there streams via MPEG - ts , and some give you the alternative of HLS. the HLS streams work fine but are slow loading and often buffer badly. the MPEG-TS streams work only with using a VPN which in turn also slows things down My ISP assures me they are not throttling or blocking ( i am in Philippines with 100Mb uo and down fibre) the strange thing is if i go to a friends home with a different provider the MPEG-TS streams work super fast without any problems. i am trying on both Kodi and APK with perfect player and also with VLC anyone with any clues on what the problem could be

When you say different provider do you mean iptv provider or isp provider?

Sounds like an isp problem probably throttling down your speed but they aren’t gonna tell you for sure.

Try giving the device dmz, I don't think it would be firewall but that is first and easiest.

After that I would have to assume it is ISP if it works with vpn. You could try and use phone as hotspot and use that to connect.

You can ask the provider to enable it for you and ask them to send you a URL that outputs that format.
