Problem with IPTV on Android (MiBox) - native mode vs. hardware mode

Hi,

I saw a diskussion on polish site about people having problem with "stuttering" image on MiBox.

You can see it while watching football or other sports with the ball ;) or on information channels, eg:

The video isn't mine but I have the same effect on MiBox and on Android phone with good processor and 6 gb of ram.

I watch IPTV (rapid) on mibox with Perfect Player on HW mode. When I switch to "native" mode everything is smooth but starts buffering every 5 - 10 seconds. When I tunr back to "hardware" it is no longer smooth but no buffering.

The video "smooth" comes from rasberry pi but it's also good on mibox with "navite" mode on in PP... People say that the same is with Kodi so it's not the issue with Pefect Player.

Is there a way to fix that?

why dont you use stbemu on mibox? no complaints there

Did you set hw+ as the encoder in settings?

Kodi with vader service works great for me on mi box.

I use Fab on my Mibox with PP and use HW and my picture is great, Perfect Player is awesome. Especially with catchup mostly working now.
