Shaw Blocking IPTV???

Question

Anyone else on Shaw cable having issues with their IPTV?

I have 3 services IPGuys, Epic, and Nitro and tonight all three are not working. When I fire up my VPN I can get my services back. When I shut the VPN down I lose all services again.

Seems like I am being blocked. What is my recourse if so?

I have Shaw and have experienced the same problem which is only solved with a vpn

My best guess is your IP is getting blocked, but it would be weird to get it blocked on all providers. Send an email to Epicstream, they can check if the IP is blocked pretty quick.

That's very discouraging for us Canadians. I don't think my mag 254 have vpn option (i'll have to check) so will have to add vpn to the router instead.
