Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone had managed to get an IPTV service to work with Alexa or Google Home and if so what equipment and service they used. I’d love to say Alexa, watch NBC or something and it actually works!

Using TVirl on Android TV, you can then use Google Assistant to open the Live Channel. That's my setup on Nvidia Shield.
There are articles online for describing integration of Alexa and Raspberry pi with kodi as frontend
The closest your gonna get without writing your own Alexa skill is controlling Kodi, and right now PVR isn't supported so I'm not sure it's even possible.
The dev behind the Alexa Kodi skill has mentioned it's a possibility, but not currently....should also mention it's an absolute nightmare to even get the Kodi Alexa skill working, as there's no way Amazon will certify the skill so you need to self host it.
Need a Alexa compatible device, guess SmartTVs would be first to implement that, and since IPTV is mostly watched on chinese junk boxes, thats far away.
