Favorite way to watch your IPTV?

by JoeFCaputo0113

Whether it be kodi add on, perfect player, smart IPTV app or other app, etc... What's your favorite way?

PS- Does anything offer a way to go to previous channel?

I'm on Vader Streams btw (currently using perfect player), just looking to try out new ways to watch. Thanks for your input!

Apple TV + iPlay is about as good as you can get without buying a dedicated box.

Some apps offer recently viewed channels, iPlay does, or if you're using Kodi there should be a way to get previous channel but it may require a remote or keyboard.

stb emulator pro on firestick, ive used countless apps and the stb is the best one, if anyone wants a cracked version of latest release then pm me

STBEmu all the way.. or if you have dreamlink than defo DOL2

I have tried Kodi, Dreamlink T1 Plus and Buzztv 3000. By far the best out of these 3 is the BuzzTv 3000, the guide is faster to load then the dreamlink, I can record on it, pause etc.. it has the closest look and feel to a real satellite or cable box.

Perfect player or STB emulator for Vader's. I also have SET tv and they have apps built for different devices that's ok. The guide is kinda missing some info but most main channels work

Also vaders, using kodi as the front end and tvheadend as the backend. Pressing 0 on the remote goes to previous channel in kodi.

Kinda like perfect player little harder to set up but not too bad

I use a script that generates an m3u and xml. I also use TVirl on Android TV which lets me use that m3u in Live Channels.

DOL2 on T1+

BTW: In DOL2 on T1+ remote pressing and releasing the Back key will bring you to last viewed channel. Pressing and holding the Back key on the remote will bring up a list previously viewed channels to select from.

I use smooth streams via plex on the Apple TV 4

I use perfect player and plex plugins.

I wish more providers made a plex plugin. I currently have two providers one perfect. The other has a plex plugin however can't get it to work and no support on it

vu+ duo2 on my big tv

perfect player on my phone (but I really hate it, the interface is so bad)

Vader's through Kodi for me. I use Mayfair pro guide (paid) and have it customized with all the channels I need. Brilliant set up

If you use perfect player on Vader. U can hit the left arrow and it will go back to the previous channel

Other then watching on a stb I would say Progtv (Vader Streams) hands down. It's similar to perfect player but has recording and scheduled recording, pause live tv/rewind functions, recently viewed channels history, mix and match favorite channels with multiple services and etc. honestly the android app is better then some dedicated boxes firmware apps. Progtv would be my number one choice if it could be used to watch catchup, I normally use Dreamlink T1 Plus DOL2 the most but the slow loading epg is a deal breaker at times so when I just want to watch non catchup live tv I use prog because there's no wait time on the epg.

Got a MAG254 and I bought channels from Tvluux . Really happy with their services.
