This will be for someone who is not tech savvy and only using it for IPTV, single stream. They want to schedule recordings using the EPG. Dreamlink T1+ seems to do that. Anyone know a good source for them in Europe? Even ebay only lists US suppliers.
I can't answer about the suppliers, but I know that the new better and more powerful boxes from Dreamlink have been released. Some available now and some coming soon.
You can void getting a new box altogether if you get a provider that offers Catch-up functionality. Some providers I know are (Express IPTV(most channels), IPGuys (some channels), VooDoo (a lot of channels), OK2 and a few others). Make sure the channel that they are looking for has Catch up and EPG for whatever provider you end up picking. Good luck!
In Europe the Dreamlinks are marketed under the name Formuler. Many, many suppliers across Europe. The Formuler Z7+ is the most recent box with the best hardware and should do everything you want it to do if set up properly with an external hard drive or usb stick.
