IPTV with Sky

by MosseyJnr

So. I had a service a few months back worked a dream everything I could want recently they was brought offline completely needing me to get a new service I found another guy who did me a brilliant deal with help the whole way through. Now my problem is whenever football games are on I'm getting blocked by Sky to watch it completely. I know it's happening as when I 4G connect my phone to it comes back. Would anyone be able to point me in the correct place?

I have a Sky Broadband Hub along with Samsung TV and a LG TV both running IPTV on separate subs.

What would be the best approach? Buy a VPN router and buy a subscription for a VPN service (more expensive) or purchase another sub (waste of money on previous sub) if so could someone please link me a service with built in VPN.

I'm pretty desperate thanks in advance!

Cancel sky first of all as they’re a terrible ISP (I used to work for them).

Tell a VPN, I’ve found IP Vanish to be the fastest for me in the UK personally, and has apps for example on android TV when others don’t.

FTTC in the UK is essentially the same product regardless of who bills you, it’s all supplied via OpenReach and non of the UK FTTC ISP’s currently throttle (QoS is used, but it’s only to prioritise not throttling), switching provider will make very little difference other than equipment supplied. Some ISP’s opt to send out lower grade OpenReach faults techs as it’s cheaper, other than that no significant difference - the UK PL blocking includes Virgin.

In terms of VPN usage, people should have been using them for years, certainly since the ‘snoopers charter’ came in.

Built in service with VPN? I don't think thery're any around. You will have to get your own VPN service and use it.

Are all UK ISPs blocking the streams?could you not use Virgin for internet.

buy a VPN if you're on sky. Dont want to be stealing their content in plain sight.
