ACE TV closing up to new customers

by thebannedit

Not entirely surprised, I just wonder how much more intense the authorities will get in 2018. Looks like you can still purchase from resellers, which is a tactic I've seen another IPTV provider take recently.

I was kinda surprised to see one of their mods telling everyone to vote for ACE in the 'IPTV Reviews' Facebook group the other day (although I can tell she doesn't have the most brains from her English + restart your router twice a week/once a week bizarre advice)

From their Facebook page:

Hello A C E Subscribers:

It saddens me to announce this, but due to pressure from the authorities in the UK we are no longer selling new subscriptions. This obviously includes trials.

  • WE ARE LEAVING THE SHOP OPEN FOR 24 HOURS FROM THE POINT OF THIS POST. IF YOU WANT TO PURCHASE, PLEASE DO SO BEFORE IT CLOSES IN 24 HOURS (8AM UK TIME TUESDAY)- We are trying to be as fair as possible *

I would like to emphasize: * ACE IS NOT SHUTTING DOWN * and anyone whom currently has service with us, will still be served with the same great ACE support through tickets. Existing customers can renew their subscriptions.

We will be closing down the Facebook page in a couple of days however. Support will again, continue to be provided through tickets ( https://ace-tv.co.uk/submitticket.php ).

Again, we are not closing down, and existing customers will still be served and maintained by us. ALL support however, will be through tickets.

Thank you all for your support; and even more for your understanding on why we no longer are accepting "new" customers.

So selling only through resellers, while that offloads you from supporting users directly and deal with resellers only, how does that make you handle pressure from "authorities" or make your service any better? And countdowns to hurry up and pay before we close, is just a little trick for quick cash before xmass. FUD.

This shows Ace's dishonesty.... I won't be surprised if they just shut down and run with the people's money.

I would not recommend anyone sign with them.

*I would like to emphasize: * ACE IS NOT SHUTTING DOWN ... .. but they are closing Facebook, website and twitter.. .. lol.. thats like shutting down.

Is all this coincidental that from the reports that their service has become shit in the past few months.. Take the money and run!

Also it's basically stating to the buyers to get the 12-month sub otherwise it'll be useless to get the minimum and be classed as a new customer.

Ace were never trustworthy to begin with.

i was waiting for this to happen simply because ACE have been too open in their dealings with the public like they're a legitimate service. i just fel sorry for those who have spent on a yearly subscription because honestly i give it 2 months before they pack their bags.

Its a shame too as i think ACE was one of the few reliable services but as with all illegal streams there's one way it will end.

this just opens up an opportunity for another service to pop up. Epic could be next

I am a ACE TV reseller in Canada.

Spreading out the support to resellers is far more cost effective than hiring more staff. Its simple economics. We support the clients and ACE becomes a distributor.

THERE YOU HAVE IT: Just got the "your screwed email" . I bought a year 3 months ago. Lesson learned.

"If you no longer have an active Ace subscription or reseller account, please ignore this email. We recently announced that Ace was no longer accepting renewals or offering new reseller credits but planned to support existing subscription. Due to mounting legal pressure in the UK we have been forced to change our plans and we are now announcing that Ace will close down at the end of March. This means that from April 1st onwards the Ace service will no longer work.
Please do not request recommendations for an alternative service, you can google "best IPTV service" for options. Please do not ask if we are rebranding/setting up a new service, the answer is no. The Ace team wishes you all the best with your next IPTV service. Best Regards, The Ace Team.
