Smart IPTV delays on Samsung TV

Using the Smart IPTV app on my Samsung and something has changed in the last few days which is causing a delay in the stream starting to play.

Previously the video would begin to play as soon as the stream completed buffering. Now, there is a pause (video frozen & no audio) of 5-6 seconds.

I've reinstalled the app, tried wired and wireless, reset the TV and one-connect box, reset router - nothing changed. The stream works normally on tbe PC, Libreelec box, Perfect Player on Fire Stick and mobile devices, so it appears that it has something to do with the TV.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

smart iptv app on my samsung is great and simple but always get these problems, delays and sometimes the streams freeze and the app close down I am looking te get a mag box , a dedicated thing and never use such apps like smart iptv or other on android , ios
