How to get warranty for Dead Dreamlink T1+

by Jason90405

My Dreamlink T1+ became non-functional when it has no HDMI output and just 2 green lights in the front.

No amount of power reset could bring back any signal.

I see quite a few people having the same issue on another site.

I bought mine in January via an Amazon seller. I emailed Dreamlink on its website but got no response so far.

Has anyone gotten their Dreamlink repaired or swapped out under warranty?

Contact the seller. Its likely your only realistic option as Dreamlink is in Korea and shipping it there for warranty would cost more than a new box!

Definitely talk to the seller who got our for you. If they are an authorized dl dealer it won't be an problem for them to replace. Hopefully they have stock to swap it out.

I haven't had any completely break like yours, but we've swapped out one or two that had issues and replaced a remote before (dog ate it lol).

Dreamlink is pretty good that way.

It depends on the amazon seller tho. My guess is most authorized dealers are not using Amazon because of the legal side of doing so, which means you have 30 days to return to Amazon (I think).

You may not get fat emailing dreamlink because as others have said thry are Korean, and do not have an official website. The websites you see are often authorized dealers representing dl.

You put your finger right on! The issue of the warranty on the streaming devices, wether IPTV or Android is a real concern for me, because I had a bad exprience with a MAG254 I bought in July this year at AMAZON, and in October went dead. I went to the Infomir website and they washed their hands: " you need to contact and discuss question about replace/warranty service directly with the point of purchasing."(sic) Then I contacted their American branch and I was told that sine I did not buy it from them I should contact the seller. I sent a message to the seller at AMAZON and he never replied.

So having learned the lesson last week I asked the following question to a seller at AMAZON Canada: "What is the warranty on the Formuler Z box and who honours it?"

I am still waiting his reply...

So, be carefull when you buy something on-line.

Anyway, I would like to hear if you ever managed to receive a response because that is going to tell me something about buying again at AMAZON.
