Possible Olympics Coverage

by eherberg

I live in a very remote area. It's so remote that there is no OTA coverage for NBC. I'm thinking about Olympics coverage in February and wondering if an option is available that has NBC coverage as well as the NBC-owned cable channels that will also have event coverage. Roku's are in use on both TV's in the house - so hopefully Roku compatibility is available. (M3U-Black is already installed). Evening would be live viewing - but DVR capability would be a plus (although don't know how feasible that is for an IPTV solution for Olympics viewing). Anything out there seem like a good solution for February?

Buy a VPN for a month and stream from Canadian CBC website. They have all the sports and no shitty US athlete only coverage. They cover it all.

Get a US centric provider, do some trials in January and see whats best for your needs. For DVR you will need a Box that support DVR or a provider with catchup for NBC.

Lots of services have multiple NBC channels and yeah CBC as well. With roku I'd recommend PSVue or Sling or DirecTV now or something like that, I haven't really found any decent IPTV apps for it. Some of them have DVR, but the problem is you'll maybe get one NBC channel depending on the service and where you are, that you may or may not be able to DVR.
