Is the 254 still more reliable than the 256? I know the latter launched with a lot of bugs but it seems the firmware update in Feb 2017 fixed most of those. Obviously the Mag 256 has better specs, but it still seems like the 254 is in more demand right now (just an assumption on my part). How goes your experience with it?
Can't comment on the 254 but the 256 is a lot more stable since the last firmware update
MAG 256 is rock solid now. Go with 256.
Is it just a OTA update ? Was looking at the mags but heard the 256 was buggy compared to the 254
Also interested in this as I'll be making the switch from ntv.mx on the Fire TV Stick to a mag box and an IPTV set up.
I got both and have no issues with either.
