Plex IPTV Guide?

Is there a guide to setting up an IPTV service using Plex and M3Us available anywhere?

I don't think so I just signed up to plex live tv with hopes of adding M3Us and I couldn't figure out a way to add M3Us and I was told it wasn't a option as of now , plex is more geared for HDhomerun type of devices IMO. I then signed up with EMBY live tv and I was able to add M3U's, and I'm able to record and I'm able to setup scheduled recordings in the guide like a dvr. It's pretty sweet and IMO the closest IPTV gets to having a true DVR because it's pretty much set and forget, none of your devices have to be on and you can be watching something else while your recording if you have more then one connection because your recordings are being recorded by your PC. I bought a low powered $90 mini PC that I leave on and I put Plex and Emby server on it so regardless of what time of the day it is I don't have to worry about missing scheduled recordings. Once recorded it will automatically add the recording to your Movies Or Tv Shows library.

Install the web tools addon to plex. then go to the unauthorized app store and install the IPTV plugin. Then the IPTV app will show up in the channels section. Afterwards, edit the setting for the channel on the server itself. from there enter your M3U link and that's all! Then you can access all the channels in your subscription. There is no guide, but if your just browsing or you know whats on the channels will work fine.

Are you trying to use tvhProxy?

There's IPTV.bundle, but (at least for my IPTV provider) it stopped work on my Chromecast so it became pretty useless.

It's fairly easy to set.

Emby is probably the best for you than Plex.
