My guess is that the big wholesale IPTV providers use clines (vm equivlent) to stream their channels. With VM probably going the same why Sky has gone, will this mean the main providers will lose there channel source??

VM is being used less and less, their logo now is getting rare on Sky Sports mostly. They have moved/preparing to move away from VM. I'd say by the end of the year, due to legal stuff, big providers will move to resellers only and keep a low non-public profile.
IPTV provides us with too much convenience and can't just disappear.
VM IS going the same way as sky, no probably about it. The HD sports channels are going at end of Feb I think it was, with the other HD channels going at an undecided date in the future. People will need a V6 box to get the channels, and they don't use cards (and have not been cracked thus far).
After trying to deal with Sky Go and NowTV it's no wonder IPTV is so rampant in the UK. Jesus christ they're just awful.
Where did it say vm sports HD is going off
As long as there is internet, there will be IPTV.
