So trying the APK again, and when I try to load a channel it takes like 15-20 seconds to change. Also when it does change LOTS of channels buffering. Is there something I need installed to make it work properly? Or is this just an app issue

It works fine yeah. I'm using a shit Chinese box, proly the issue
MxqProis what it is. It is an official box but its old and slow. Android 6 with 1gb ram. It does the job but very laggy. I think I payed 80 bucks 2 years ago
Vader claims that the APK will only work on official Android TV boxes, so your cheap Chinese box is probably the issue. It works very well on my MiBox and on my Firesticks. The rumour is they are focusing hard on improving the APK specifically because so many people use Firesticks for IPTV and they are terrible with apps like kodi, PerfectPlayer and the like. Buy yourself a $40 Firestick and try it out. Its pretty impressive. Still some bugs to work out, but I like the interface better than anything other than my Dreamlink.
I'm using vaders on fire tv and Dreamlink with very little issues in terms of buffering.
I have the app on my Shield and every time I launch it, it says there is an update available. Is that a bug im assuming?
Guys, the APK is in BETA. New updates are being pushed almost daily. One was just pushed a few mins ago in fact.
All the kinks are still being worked out, so please keep that in mind when using the APK for now. I would keep PP or Kodi around as a back-up in the interim.
How do I download the apk?
I have it on kodi but would like to try put apk?
I have a minix u1 box

The APK is hit and miss, on 12th it worked flawless for me for the first time but the next day I started experiencing buffering and 10 - 15 seconds channel change again, it started acting up again after vaders downtime.
I am pretty sure, it's some incompatibility with the app and your device. Just to make sure, check how everything plays by going on their online website on your phone or laptop http://watch.vaders.tv
