Thanks for the input guys - unfortunately I have a roku box that's rebranded and has the Isps firmware on there, subsequently I can't access roku app store. I can however sideload apps by accessing the roku box by its ip address via Web console hence I need the file

I would definitely recommend the m3u Black app over the m3u playlist player because it's easier to use and has a better pleasing UI closer to the android boxes. I wouldn't recommend using any other apps since they can be removed anytime by ROKU Police haha.
