In my zeal to purchase a Formuler Z7+ I bought a unit on Amazon that did not come with an IR extender. Big mistake. I can’t get the included remote to work unless it’s close to the Z7+ and aimed right at it. Can someone recommend an IR extender that will work with the Z7+? The Formuler and Dreamlink websites don’t seem to sell them. I will consider single unit extnders as well as transmitter/receiver combinations if they are worth it.

I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos on the Z7+, but it sure would be nice to have a PDF manual I could read. Does such a thing exist?

I’be had the Z7+ for less than 24 hours, so I haven’t had much time to fiddle with the unit, but I’ve had problems with the unit becoming intermittently unresponsive. I’ve got a 100/10 feed from Comcast. Sometimes the stream will pause and pressing Arrow buttons/Exit/Back/EPG doesn’t work for awhile and then suddenly starts working. The feed from Comcast doesn’t seem to be the problem as I have run speed tests during these issues and everything’s OK. I’ve heard recommendations to use a VPN. Is there anything else I should try?
