It seems like a Vader love fest on every single post. I feel like Vaders, which seems like a decent IPTV provider, is going to be completely oversold. It makes me leery.

You can't get a direct Smoothstreams account anymore. Mystreams had open registration for a long time which led to the service being absolutely hammered and a noticeable impact on quality. Mystreams is now splitting from SS and by all accounts hooking up with Vader. That leaves MMA-TV as your only option if you want a SS sub (although it's still not a direct account). They don't do free trials though and you will need to know someone who can send you an invite. Vaders have something which is called Match Center which is just SS on delay, so that's probably going to be your best option although as others have been pointed out they've been on a full-court press lately so I'd be worried about what happens to the quality over the next 6 months or so given my experience with SS after they opened up registrations to anyone and everyone.

Looks like they have a twitter and an sub reddit that is private, also all providers will buffer no IPTV is 100% stable....

Hey. I've been a subscriber for about a year and a half. SS is like a network of pages, I have a subscription for StreamTvNow. They open registrations every once in a while. Follow them on Twitter, they anounce registrations there.

I've been using it for this season of NFL and haven't buffered once. I watched last season as well and no buffs. Saturday soccer never buffs. The only buffering you can notice is on big events like PPV boxing matches, Superbowl or some high profile MMA fights. But they have several servers so if one server is overwhelmed you can easily switch to another one and chances are you'll be good for the rest of the sporting event.

Channel list is never stable. They prioritize sports so they might switch channels to accommodate a certain match and then switch the channel back. For example they might switch MTV to Bein Sports to have a 720p stream of a soccer match or NHL or some other sport. Big events are streamed at 1080.

There is a site that uses the same channels as SS, it's called SportsAccess, you can find them as @NoBuffZone on Twitter. They always have registrations open and in my experience are as stable as SS with the same channel lineup.

I agree Vader is being over sold and soon wil run into problems. So make sure only use 3 months sub only.

Hopefully someone new will come along that offer 5 streams like SmootStreams and better then Vader

Been using SS for a while now and they are pretty good. If you want sports then you will be happy. Also their support is damn good. If I have an issue I got to the irc channel and they help me out within minutes
