Decoding Error after 2 minutes (HELP)

So ive got a deal off a guy to access to all Sky channels plus a tonne more for 25 quid a year, and its set up via the MyiPTV Player app. It used to work fine but recently it only works for 2 minutes before getting a video decoding error. If i exit and choose the channel again it works again for 2 mins before getting the same error

The guy i buy it off has used my profile and it works fine his end, he's tried and failed to fix the problem, as have i. Searching the internet hasnt helped me so this is a last resort, not sure where else to look. If anyone has any experience with this stuff id appreciate and help, thankyou

If your guy who is supposed to know about this thing can't sort it, that sounds like crud to me.

Fire it into the bin and get something that works.

That app appears to be m3u based, so any similar app should do the trick. Get your m3u file from your buddy if you don’t already know it and try using it with Perfect Player, or VLC, or ProgTV. If you have the same problem with those apps, its either device related,ISP related or provider related.

Next step would be to try a different device with the same programs and the same m3u. If problem persists, you know its very likely a provider issue or perhaps your ISP blocking it.

Last step if those two don’t work is to try a VPN. This would eliminate the chance of it being your ISP blocking the streams.

If none of those things work its almost surely your provider causing the issue no matter what they say about it working for them.
