Hi guys! Looking for a new box to run GSE-app, Plex or similar. Thinking about, Xiaomi mi box, Apple TV 4 or Amazon Fire tv. What do you recommend? Regarding performance and user experience. Mainly looking at iptv/VODs but Maybe some gaming aswell. Or got any other box to suggest? Cheers, Fred
I recently just setup an amazon fire tv with perfect player and stbemu and wow it was pretty sweet. When spinning through the channels it was really fast, quality of the picture was amazing and for the price u can go wrong.
If u want something for gaming go with shield or stay with your xbox and ps.
All devices you mentioned will play IPTV and won’t play it any different from one another.
IPTV and VOD’s the Mi Box is perfect. As soon as you start thinking about gaming - think about a shield. Pricey but quite nice.
I have recently got Minix Neo u1. Works pretty good for IPTV. I am extremely happy with my IPTV and android box. It is stable, fast and not that hard to set up.
I've used all those and prefer the AppleTV, but not using GSE. I managed to get one for free otherwise I wouldn't have really thought about it for IPTV, but I actually prefer it. Plex runs great, and there's a couple of apps like squire that you can use instead of Plex with a plex server.
The Mi Box is good if you're on a budget, but you're pretty much required to add storage to it to keep it running smoothly.
I've not heard of anyone using a box for gaming, maybe the Shield but it's kinda limited I would think.
I highly recommend Easybox iptv . it's a great box that I'm totally satisfied with.
Nvidia shield kills it.
