Would like to set up an easy, spouse friendly, IPTV service for my wife to use after I am worm chow.
I currently run KODI on a Shield and 2 RPi 3's [one of them on a Samsung Smart [not so smart] TV. Chasing KODI on a nightly basis is fun for me but rarely for a spouse.
Anyone care to share their experience with "Set TV"?
I use lucky tv. Its the same. Great customer service, and channels have been perfect. It was buffering alot but last couple months it's been great. You can't put it on a smart tv unless it's got android
They used to have a 72 hour trial. It was my first iptv experience and I was surprised at how well they were setup. Account creation,trials, etc are all automated. Probably the most legit website for iptv and they have phone support. With that said, for $20 a month their limited channels and sub par epg leave much to be desired. Certainly is wife friendly tho.
Yes, pretty crap last I tried them. And their customer service was nonexistent. And if you're dead set on using the Samsung, there aren't many options. Smart STB wants a monthly subscription just to use an app (hell no) & the Smart IPTV app is a bit flaky (it likes M3U files a certain way), but out of the two its the best.
As far as services, I used Vaders with it & it worked well. They also keep their live TV and VOD m3us separate which I like. Keeps things neater.
