IPTV - Motion Blur on Live Sporting Events

by eaton011

Hi All,

I am new to the IPTV game and just recently began using it in the last month or so. I was wondering if anyone has had issues with motion blur while watching sports. For example, when watching basketball there is a blur each time the ball is passed or shot. It is even worse in hockey as the puck is moving faster.

I had this when I originally signed up and it seemed to go away after a few days and the quality of the streams was really good with no major motion blur. I am not sure if this is caused by my internet, my tv settings, the provider I am using or something else?

I am currently using Vaders through Kodi on an Amazon Firestick and my TV is a Samsung 55" UHD TV my internet is 60mbps down. I had originally thought it was my TV settings because when it originally occurred I was playing around with some TV settings which seemed to help. I had to revert them back to factory settings to fix a glitch with my remote and since then is when the motion blur seemed to return despite trying to change some of the settings back to what I had them at before. However, using my friends NHL Centre Ice account we watched the game fine with no major motion blur which led me to believe maybe it was not my TV after all.

Any idea on what is the main cause of this and what solutions I can take to minimize it? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Well vaders live stream channels that are not match center are only going to be 30fps so you will get motion blur. The match center streams coming from smooth streams should be 60fps. Nhl game center is 60 fps as well so motion looks nice.

Try disabling auto motion plus on your TV

More accurate title: IPTV - Motion Blur on every channel in some amount. This is because it's compounded when you take an already compressed satellite/cable stream and recompress it in varying amounts depending on source/channel.

Maniac1000

Turn off trumotion on the TV display settings.

your tv is fine and I am shure you have turned off all the effects , the problem is the source my friend you have a SD source very smooth nearly identical to a terrestrial freview channel then a full HD Bein sports channel with five frames per second , here you go and judge for yourself Again your tv is fine , find another provider, they are to blame

Can you try it from some other device? SmartIPTV app? some Android box? screencast from phone? Kodi obviously being joke of a quality app.
