Regardless of what specific device you end up with, devices of this type are notorious for having poor wi-fi or being susceptable to interferece that may be generated by almost anything, including your TV on specific wifi channels depending on your panel type. Even if it performs well, I believe the T1+ operates at 2.4 Ghz, which is a super crowded spectrum and will drop network connectivity when people are using the microwave in your house etc.
Get an ethernet cable to your device if it's used for home theatre. I highly recommend a mesh setup like google wifi - https://store.google.com/product/google_wifi - this will create a 5GHz wireless backhaul between each of the access points, which is less susceptible to interference and capable of higher speeds at appropriate distances. Each AP has a wired port that you can connect to a switch (for distribution) or directly to devices like your dreamlink. This is the easiest and most reliable way to extend "wire" quality network to a device where wifi is necessary due to not being able to easily run cables etc.
