i have a 7.1 capable receiver connected to the formuler with an hdmi cable.
in the android setting section i have:
HDMI Output = RAW
SPDIF = Close
HBR Degrade = RAW 5.1
and i still don't any dolby digital sound. just stereo. is there another setting i missed?
Android and proper high quality sound is a bit of a joke, its a Phone OS anyway: https://www.formuler-support.tv/index.php/Thread/996-Understanding-Why-Z7-Has-Audio-Issues-and-App-Streaming-Issues-eg-Netflix-Amazon/?postID=6372 They wont install proper sounds chips or license high end sound tech.
