Any good starter Android box?

by CromulentCanuck14

Any recommendations for a basic box for IPTV? I'm looking at a MyGica 1800e for under $90. Seems to be an older model but I can only assume it won't matter much as all that 4K, penta-core, 16GB stuff that advertised on modern boxes is just for show since I have a simple LCD TV. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I recommend the Xiaomi Mi Box. Sideload Perfect Player onto it.

if its just iptv u want, the latest gen amazon firestick with stb emulater and everything works perfectly fine, ive had countless android boxes and they are all pants. the firestick is the best bit of kit ive ever used.

If I was going to recommend a box to start with, it would be the FireTV for the extra $30-40 over the Firestick or the MiBox for just a basic, easy to use, more than enough power android experience.

The MyGica box will likely be fine too, but those would be my recommendations.

This is not as cheap as $90, but Minix Neo U1 is a pretty good Android based box. I use it pretty often to watch soccer matches. Works flawlessly with Rocket Streams.

I also recommend the Minix Neo A3 Remote, regardless of which box you end up choosing.

Blue-Thunder

Yundoo Y6 from Amazon. Fully supported by Xannytech's firmware from Freaktab. Just make sure you back up the remote1.conf and remote.conf and then copy back the remote1.conf and rename it to remote.conf and set proper premissions(the copying of both is in case your remote.conf is the actual right one as Xannytech doesn't have all the proper remote.conf's in his firmware, mine the remote1.conf was the correct one to use). It has 32 gigs of storage and 2 gigs of ram all for under 60 bucks US. It's also dual band.

The issue I had with the Xiaomi Mi Box was that it doesn't have a ethernet port which is something I needed for streaming IPTV.

While WiFi will work its still not the preferable way of watching IPTV you ideally want a wired connection.

https://zoomtak.ca/store/ Check out the H8. 64 bit pentacore. $109 Canadian Prices. They also make cheaper models.

Would recommend the Mi Box plus flash drive before anything else. Maybe a Fire TV box, but I haven't tried one yet.

Check out a box called Buzz XPL3000, I work for the manufacturer(mygica) if anyone is interested! No need to sideload apk's. Need more info? Inbox me. PVR, Catchup, 2GB RAM, 8GB storage, Its the best IPTV box our rn. ApprtoideTV comes built in as the marketplace. Its got LiveTV and can have up to 10 servers on the box.
