They've been mentioned here once or twice but I think Formuler or Dreamlink is easier to source or works better because I rarely see Avov mentioned or any video reviews on them.
Decided to bite the bullet and buy one to try for a couple of weeks. The Dreamlink and Buzz both have strengths but little quirks that can be frustrating, figured this was worth a try. I'll post here over the weekend when I've tried it.
Watch out for what happened to this guy. It would appear that avov send out OTA updates to their devices that leave them in a broken / unusable state:

The S2 is a very nice box. Very simple to use. I tried it with a ethernet cable, and it took 34 seconds to load up and play. The remote has both "iptv" and "vod" buttons. It also has "catch up" functions. Avov also did something with the contrast, so the "black" is deep and rich, so all the colors are vibrant. It shows better than the online 4. Happy so far.
I don't, but now you got me googling avov boxes and I'm tempted to try and sell my buzz and get an avov instead. Assuming you can record from them.
