I guess this is why lots of providers sell preconfigured MAG boxes and the like. I don't think there's a way unless you go the SetTV route and roll your own apk, or there's a way to have android auto execute a script or something.

Can't you just set it up for each customer on your own and then create a backup file for them to just click restore settings and its all done?

SIPTV.EU , best app hands down for Android TV. It gets EPG automatically if channels are matching the naming as per their groups ID. You can buy it remotely via Paypal (binds to MAC address of the device), you can upload the playlist remotely and you don't need to deal with EPG.
I use matrix player app and https://www.ntv.mx it is very simple and smooth You are quick to switch between channels. you can also use filmon app they offers free channels.
What about apks? I know Nitro, OK2, Limitless, Vader, Unloaded, eternal tv, setv and area51 all have apks out. You would still have to set up user names and passwords on both ends.

ProgTV, has record, timeshift, and catchup feature. It shows programming info on the channel select screen and is fast as well. It’s my goto now instead of perfect player and if you configure it with the black theme looks very nice. Though you do have to put in the links...

No possible unless you are using the direct apk from an IPTV provider that is pre-configured. I occasionally use the $8 Players Klub iptv service and their apk is easy to go after you enter your username/password.
