Ive tried endless Android boxes,along with Zgemma's and I settled for the latest gen Amazon Firestick with either Perfect Player or STB Emulator installed.

Mi Box still going fairly strong. Well overdue a software update though. Shame theres nothing else around that price point with aTV

an enigma2 box, any Vu+ will do nicely. Get a solo2 or duo2 and you can even record it.

I have a Vu Solo2, Zgemma i55 is ok for just IPTV, otherwise if you want Freeview too get any one you can afford with DVB-C tuner.

My personal favourites Enigma2 - Vu+ Uno4k loved that, or any top end Vu+, have Mutant HD51 currently, using dvb-t2, iptv and many other things.

i55 is alright for cheap budget enigma2 iptv box also.

But then again I also have Nvidia Shield, Apple TV 4k, 4th Gen, Mac Mini, which I all get used for different purposes.

So my advice would be, do bit research first, see what sort of layout you prefer, what you think would suit you etc.

Nvidia shield with perfect player works well for me.

I have the Mag 254 and Zgemma i55.

The layout and catchup on the Mag is great if you don't mind not having a standard EPG like you'd see on your usual STB and you cannot run a VPN on that version. Not sure about later versions.

The Zgemma I have bought so I can install a VPN on it to watch the football and have a standard EPG. I generally find the supplier has the guide for eiher English or American channels dependant upon supplier. I also find there is no catchup TV on it but recording is easy (which it is not on the Mag 254).

Both boxes have an ethernet connection which I prefer over wireless to take the risk of weak signal out of the equation. Overall both have their pros and cons
