So I am trying to connect my Mag 254 box to my Samsung TV, however, I keep getting an error message stating:

Mode Not Supported The resolution is not supported on this TV. Please change the resolution.

I tried to look online for help and I saw a suggestion to hold the menu button till you see the red light on the remote is flashing before plugging the box in and after you plug it in, you can access the bios. However, the remote I have doesn't have the flashing power button and only has a red power button on the top right and a star button on top left.

Not sure how I should proceed now. The box was working fine on my parents Sony TV. Can I go to their place and change resolution before trying again and what resolution should I keep it on for it to work on my TV?
