Cannot get epg timeshift to apply; using GSE Smart IPTV on Apple TV 4. Any suggestions?

I've given up (for the moment) trying to make a customized guide/channel listing with only the channels I want (I really don't need to know what's on the Asian/Austrailian/etc channels nor do I need access to them) but I would like to get the egg timeshift to work. No matter what I enter no change takes effect. I go into Settings then EPG Timeshift and add and subtract and nothing changes with the guide. I've tried clearing the epg data and installing it again and even that didn't seem to work.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Honestly this app for me has a lot of issues this being one of them. They don’t really update it either. I wish this wasn’t the only option but it kinda is.

The only way I've found to do this without running your own server or XML grabber is with IPTV-EPG. Allows you to edit your list, assign epg sources, AND apply EPG offset to individual channels. That's the main advantage over Xtream-editor, otherwise I prefer xtream.
