Hey all. I've recently discovered that I can have IPTV instead of cable with my Roku (the m3u player app) as well as the Plex app for Roku (Too slow, not gonna use that). I've not been into IPTV until now. I have been googling around as well as reading this sub and I have tried some of the providers that offer free trials. unfortunately for me, they have all had the same issues:
-
Channels seem to suddenly change. For example, Where Bein was suddenly SKY appears. Not nice.
-
Quality is not as advertised. Some (most) 1080p channels are 720p. Some 720p channels are 360p or something. Again not nice. Then some channels are streamed in the resolution advertised, but they barely have a bitrate for half that.
-
Many of the proviers seem to use a server or two, usually streaming from out my country. I don't have enough experience yet but I smell trouble during my country's peak hour if I have to connect to servers half the world away and try to stream 1080p. I'd rather prefer to have a provider that is using a CDN.

Some providers are asking for payment for a trial. I understand the need to keep jerks away, but I am not paying for a trial. If they can't secure their stuff, that is not my problem. So need to be able to test without payment.
So I am here to ask you which provider meets the above criteria? I am okay with them being above the average price if that would provide a service making it possible to cut the cable for me. I don't need much channels, the main sports ones mostly (Bein, Sky, and would be nice to have some US sports too). And if no CDN, at least servers in east of Amsterdam (but within EU). Thank you for your help in advance.
Stick to cable, IPTV is not for you, neither it will fulfill your requirements, ever. Its just a "acceptable" cheap service, that has often problems. If you can;t live with those, stick to cable.
