ACETV blocking all sports channels

by kepners

I have just received the following email from ACETV.

"We have temporarily suspended access to the EPL games until we can get off of the ISP blacklist, this applies to all customers in all countries and includes VPN access. We believe that this will enable us to rebuild the ISP block bypass process and successfully provide you with all EPL games. "

They say this could last weeks or longer. Seems like i need a new provider. What the next best in line? the IPTV provider excel sheet on google drive looks a bit out of date. So, any ideas?

No VPN required for FAB all working there with no issues.

Is this only for UK users or all?

Same here. My husband is getting annoyed that everytime there's a premier league or champions league game, it stops working. Any suggestions of other providers?

Do they really think they can get around the block? Bullshit.

Using a VPN worked fine. What the fuck.

I'm also affected by this, interested in alternatives if it continues!

Any suppliers out there trialing or using the new 50fps sky uk channels from globe. I know epic were but have now shelved them

So....how much are they reducing our subscriptions by then? Given that sports is the most desired and most expensive part of these services.....

My sub includes everything, if I now can't get the sports then they need to take a big chunk of the fee off.

Also I use a vpn and I see no reason that any ISP block should have any effect on a vpn user, so why block it for all? If people want to watch illegal streams without a vpn then that is their own stupidity, there is no reason those with the sense to protect their own privacy and security should not still get what they have paid for.

I can only assume this is actually related to their server suppliers being targetted and so the suppliers have told them they can't broadcast this stuff anymore (hence even vpn users can't get it because the server supplier is then blocking it at source) and this "block bypass" they talk about is maybe a move to a new server provider that isn't insisting on blocking it. I can't think of any other reason why it wouldn't still be fine on a vpn, like it is with other providers.

I guess it's also time to look for a new provider

So glad I Cancel their service

Sooner or later you'll need a VPN regardless of which provider, its the way it's going (but for a provider to willingly block that's another matter). I believe NFL are looking in to a similar block. If you're in the UK, PM me and I can help you out. You're missing an awesome Palace v Man U game right now.
