Roku has recently blocked all access to anything IPTV related for most servers worldwide. I'd strongly recommend getting a solid Android box, MAG, or Dreamlink device.
What is Australian Plus TV? Looks like it's just what ABC's international channel is called? Which hong kong/chinese stations?
You can get the streams direct for most channels like CCTV and BTV, but they're either geoblocked, or just suffer from really poor performance (at least in the US). Hong Kong streams fine however, though some are geo restricted like RTHK 31 and ViuTV. There's only one service with vpn servers in mainland china so I haven't had a chance to test my theory yet. The quality of the streams is unreal though, some of the best I've seen when they work.
I too sold my Roku. It was as much work to keep it working as it was Kodi. Roku hates iptv
I have used a Roku for IPTV in the past. Trust me as I tell you, it is not a device that I would recommend. You may have to get another device. Not only does it not handle it well, Roku themselves are shutting down IPTV type apps that aren't sanctioned by them. They are closing their ecosystem. I moved on to other devices. Roku just doesn't work well.
