Dreamlink T2 and Netflix

by The_canucker

So I love the Dreamlink T2, but when I attempt to run Netflix on it I get what I assume is the touch friendly version of netflix, meaning that navigation with a remote is quite limited and I need to enable the mouse to reach the menu or search icons at the top. Is there any way to get around this? Any idea from anybody?

I haven't had the T2 for a couple months now, but at that time there was no optimized version of netflix for the T2.

Heh, I was fighting with the same problem last night. Tried a few different versions of the Netflix app and none or them worked nicely. Even tried side-loading the Android TV build, but it throws a 'device not supported' error (or something to that effect).

Netflix is a pain on these obscure Android boxes. If you can find a version on the device it only runs at 480. Netflix DRM has it pretty locked down to only the big boxes that go through the proper channels of licensing(Apple TV, fire TV, smart TVs, stuff like that)

Get a mini keyboard with a mouse track on it. Think mine is the ri8 this allows me to move around with the mouse. No problems for me running/using any apps this way. Plus easier to type in your searches.

Any update? Or downgrade to old version available?
