You heard that right. If you have a VPN, you can watch every EPL fixture without using an IPTV provider, without worrying about ISP blockage or quality of the pirate IPTV feed.

Why? Because one of the EPL rights holders in one country gives away free 14 day trials of their service and doesn't know how to do geoblocking right.

Optus Sport carries the rights in Australia. They have an app for Apple TV, Android, iOS and they support Chromecast. They do not use location services to detect where you are, they just check IP geo.

First things first: sign up for a trial. No VPN needed. Go to https://sport.optus.com.au/campaign/sport-trial .

Generate an AU mobile phone number, punch it in, pick any mobile provider as your provider. Enter any email you want, they don't validate them. Pick Liverpool as your favorite team because you're not a wanker. https://fakenumber.org/australia/mobile

Once registered, simply VPN to Australia to watch games. You can grab the app off Google Play or the App Store to watch on your phone. To watch on your TV, either grab their app on Apple TV or put a Chromecast or Android TV STB (Mi Box, Nvidia Shield) behind an AU VPN and cast it. If you are casting to an Android TV STB, you can install a VPN app from Google Play, connect to your AU VPN and cast from the mobile app - no hardware VPN required. Video is 50fps. It's the global feed , so no brain dead NBC commentary or BT Sport morons running their mouthes. Critically, there are no ads next to the fucking scores. Fuck off with that shit, NBC.

Any semi-good VPN provider offers Australia as a region. I use PIA, but honestly that's just because I'm too lazy to switch. Use whoever you like.

Give this method try if you feel up to it. You can watch the Tottenham put a beating on Bournemouth right now, if everything goes according to plan anyway.

It's worth noting that in order to get the app you'll probably need an Australian iTunes account no? I believe Google Play works the same way but it's easy enough to sideload.

If you have a rooted device download virtual hdmi switch and you can use the app on your box without the need to chromecast
