"Value-Added" Reseller?

by jawgee

Other than customer service, do IPTV resellers add any value offerings on top of what the source provider provides?

For example, I'm currently with Goodfellas and I've been happy with it overall though lately the TV Catch-up has been on the fritz.

I've been thinking about switching to a different Vaders reseller, but if there's nothing different from a product perspective, I guess that won't really get me any further than where I'm already at.

Does RajTV (Vaders reseller) provide their own TV Catch-up service or is that provided by Vaders?

Everything comes from Vader. Changing resellers won’t change the service.

There are a few that might provide access to a plex server as a way of enticing customers but realistically speaking that is just marketing to the least tech savvy consumer. A "value-added" reseller is one that responds to your inquiries in a timely fashion and is able to carry on a civil discussion while having to service uncivil customers.

Gfservers is probably the MOST expensive Vader's reseller lol

resellers are just resellers... the only addition is quick customer service via email if you have a question..

As a vader reseller myself. It doesnt matter who you buy from we all sell the same service despite what the reseller tells you. It comes down to customer service that each reseller provides to there clients.

Goodfellas has their own app/add-on called GFServer. How would a different reseller have access to this app? Or is it just a generic app that resellers can rebrand with their own name?
