Can you DVR with IPTV? If so how?

Is it possible to DVR or record IPTV? Live Sports games would be what I need to record. Is it possible? If so how?

Prog tv allows you too. I have the app saved onto my 128gb sd card. More than enough space and the only down side is the app has to be open when its recording.

I spent the night testing the IPTV Extreme apk (out of the google playstore) mentioned here earlier, on my Nvidia Shield and using Vader as my provider. Doesn't have ProgTV's cable'like EPG layout, but I found the platform to be more stable, and the recording process more convenient/easy.

Set Walking Dead to record an hour or so early, exited the app over to watching a few movies in Kodi, and it was there waiting to be played in an easy to access in-app folder when I opened it back up.

Thumbs up so far. Found this video that goes over the initial setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeburZ6v1Cs

NextPVR works. you can set the server up on a PC and then connect to it with the client in KODI. TVHeadend can also do this but it looks like a massive pain in the ass to do

Where are you grabbing the app from

Progtv or watching via plex or most mac boxes like buzztv formuler etc allow recording.

Apparently there's an app called IPTV Extreme Pro that lets you record IPTV. I haven't had a chance to test it, just saw it in a forum I'm in

Buy a Dreamlink. Honestly if you need to PVR shit, don't get IPTV. Most providers do have catch up on their channels, so you can watch what you missed later in the week. As for PVR'ing live sports, what's the fucking point? Once the game is over you see the score all over the internet/news, it's over and you know who won/loss.
