So I have a Vader streams account. I have set up xtream editor to edit the Playlist to use with TVirl and Live channels on my Sony Android TV. Everything works great except the epg. I go in xtreme editor and assign the epg channels and I'm thinking that I'm doing it correctly(I get the green highlights over the channels when I assign the epg.) When I go into the live channels app the watch the channels a lot of the epg information does not show up in the guide for many channels. Am. I doing something wrong?
What you have to do is this.
In the xtreme settings for Vaders, remove the epg URL. This will force the use of the xtreme epg data when you assign the channels. Make sure you also have the proper countries selected too so that data gets included. Try minimize to only what you need to keep the epg data small.
If you specify an epg URL it will use the Vader’s epg data and Vader’s guide data is crap.
That being said, there are channels that xtreme won’t have data for. For example the channels #1-150 in the live events section.
A work around for that is to create a second Vader’s line and exclude all sections except that. Then make sure the epg URL is set in the setting so it uses the Vader’s epg data for just those channels.
Then you want to merge the two and use the merged epg/m3u.
It seems confusing but it’s the only way I know of to get xtreme to use their epg data for some channels and Vader’s for others.
