I had that problem.

I bought a Linksys wrt3200acm with mumimo tech and made sure the fire tv stick was priority in its settings.

That coupled with perfect players latest 1.4.5 version and I hardly get any buffering anymore.

What app you using?!

how many apps do u run on the firestick,? Only run iptv app and nothing else, Go into settings and manage apps and force stop every app, also while force stopping delete cache on every app every day. Everytime u turn the power off on the stick then restart it u will then have to force stop every app again. so try to keep it in sleep mode when possible

What's happening on your Iphone or Ipad doesn't ultimately matter in relationship to your firestick. That's the #1 noobie assumption mistake people make when trying to trouble shoot this stuff. Don't generally assume...run an actual speed test on the actual device in question.

Running your IPTV on WIFI and basically the lowest spec'd android box/option possible might not be helping either. Which is also half the reason doing so in the first place tends to get such a bad generalized rap here in comparison to dedicated IPTV boxes btw/imo.

As noted below though, for people that do insist on using firesticks for this stuff...force stop can indeed be a best friend you should get very familiar with.

Fab used to allow VPN's but not anymore. Not allowing VPN's is a deal breaker these days imo because of possible ip throttling. Trust me, at times a VPN is very much needed when your ip is having network issues and that's basically the only time I hardly ever have to use ipvanish
