Try testing your internet connection speed on that device before and after connecting to the VPN.
Low spec'd Amazon Firestick + IPVanish, while trying to run HD IPTV streams on top of that, has basically always been a failure combo in my own experiences. Especially if you are trying to auto connect to "best available" servers instead of finding/testing one manually, which usually are putting you on something that is nowhere near that.
Easy answer FAB don't allow VPN without a very good reason.
You need to raise ticket and request VPN, saying why you really require one.
From past experience you do not vpn for fab streams.
