Will OK2 or Ipguys work on a Roku?

by Budoman

Can a Roku be configured to allow OK2 or Ipguys to work?

You are better off to just get an Android box, however some IPTV services work to a certain extent with the M3U Black Player on Roku. For instance you can get Vader Streams live channels with that player but there is no EPG and VOD doesn't work. There are also some IPTV services including Vader Streams that offer a dedicated Roku app that can be sideloaded onto the Roku by entering the Roku developer mode. To stop Roku from deleting your sideloaded app after you have installed the app go back to the developer screen and change your password. I have had the Vader Streams app on my Roku Premier for over three months and it hasn't been deleted yet.

I'd like to know this as well. I have a Roku-powered smart TV and have been using a Fire Stick to run STB Emu.

Might be worth bearing in mind that Roku appear to be in the process of making it difficult to use IPTV services with their platform - https://www.reddit.com/r/EPICStream/comments/7vx0gc/roku_app_unavailable_down/

Don't bother using Roku for IPTV as they are a closed platform and have already blocked access to most IPTV related apps and private channels.

NOT RECOMMENDED.

Do not try to use ipguys with a roku :)

Unlikely it will work, and money will be wasted.
