They've finally fixed the Dreamlink EPG issue

They've been promising it for what seems like forever but I turned on my T1+ this evening and installed the latest update and lo & behold, once it connected to Fab, the entire EPG loaded...All at once...Not a channel at a time, not a page at a time, the whole thing. I have also tested on Eternal TV and OK2 where the EPG loaded right up on Eternal but only partially loaded and struggled to load on OK2

Something else I just noticed after the update, DreamOnline now supports M3U playlists in the Portals menu. So now you can add 5 portal URLs that use MAC authentication and 1 M3U URL.

Has anyone else updated and gotten similar results? My DOL2 app version is v1.09.17-r1577 while the S/W version on my T1+ is v2.8.0, revision r12700 in case anyone is curious

Apparently what it does it downloads in background upon entering portal, so if not there instantly, try checking after few minutes of watching a channel maybe, if struggling etc.

I have a Z7+ but I'm not seeing any of this. Is there an update I'm missing or something? Or is this only on the T1/T2's?

Edit: I've just read elsewhere that this update was pushed for T1/T2 2 days ago. Apparently Z7+ is still in beta and should be coming soon. Just gotta be patient I guess.

Can you confirm that epg works in the playlist m3u setup? I can't get mine to work at all in this setup! Maybe it's coming soon /known issue?

Vaders epg is loading slowly, but seems to be loading through.. It's very slow tho. You said Fab updated all at once? Hmm..

I've also noticed that there is a button in the DOL2 settings menu to Clear EPG data. Haven't tried it yet though

Just an FYI...you can also use xtreamcodes api portals in the portals now with username and password so no need to register your MAC. Any xtreamcodes server will work this way. The old stalker server still require a registered MAC.

Oh interesting! Mine says no info in the epg and I tried three services. No issues in perfect player, maybe it's still a work in progress.

There are three ways to activate on a dreamlink or formuler now. MAC, Serial and Username and Password to include m3u......

I have vaders using dreamlink T1Plus and the EPG is as slow as always. No real improvement. Updates one section at a time.
