Enigma2 m3u freezes every 45 minutes. Using Epicstream. It's not the stream though, because as soon as I switch channel it's fine straight away. Something about Enigma2. Didn't happen on Ace, although they were way worse in every other way.

I get the same thing. I have not timed it and it is definitely not every 45 mins but I do get streams stopping fairly regularly, 2-3 times a day maybe. I find that the stream suddenly just stops out of nowhere (it doesnt just stop temporarily, it STOPS mid stream with the image still on the screen and will sit there forever if you don't change channel), and if i change channel and change back again, it continues working fine so the channel and stream were still there all along. Never had it with Ace.

Have you tried using Extplayer3 as main E2 player, via Service App?
Menu - plugins - download - system plugins - serviceapp (then restart gui)
Then
Menu - setup - usage and gui - serviceapp - change Enigma2 player to extplayer3 by pressing right, green to save. (if on OpenATV this menu location)
Try that for playback.
Also what enigma2 box is it? and what model?

If using extreme editor make sure it’s set to dvb1 I think in settings it’s probably the player type causing it
Every 45 min? Thats not bad! If it didn't freeze on Ace then you know its a provider issue. What box, what image? OpenVix?
Anyway Enigma does not freeze, it plays the stream as far as its uninterrupted from provider or network is working good. I can watch a single channel for hours on my Enigma box, but sure there are bad days at the provider when it might happen once every 30-60min a freeze a few seconds then goes on again.
