Dreamlink T2 / Vaders buffering/freeze?

by l0hr1

Latest firmware on Dreamlink T2. Lots of channels freeze for like a second, and then resume every few seconds. Not every channel has issues but a lot do. The green bars on bottom go from 1, or 2, to none, then it'll come back for a few seconds, and freeze a second.

Tried switching servers. Same deal. It's still the same channels that freeze for a second/buffer every few seconds. Weird thing tho, viewing channels via web browser there's no freeze/buffer on said channels?

Does the web browser streaming use a different type of streaming, or does this sound like a Dreamlink issue?

Vader's has been buffering a lot recently, especially hockey games i have been watching. Quite a few chans not available.

I put in a ticket once about 2 months ago and they told me to google it. Condescending goofs. Then a couple days later it was evident they (all their subscribers) were having major issues.

Anyway going cancel end of month never go back. When it worked its great, but its been super flakey and i would never contact their support again for any reason. :waves:

Using a Formuler z7+ and no current issues on US CNN for hours.

How are you connected, wifi or hardwire? If wifi, try connecting with a lan cable. If hardwired and still getting buffering, try resetting your network by unplugging your modem and router for 10 mins.

I have been having similar issues with vaders pretty non stop. I ununstalled my stbemu, reinstalled, reloaded vaders, and tried a new MAC with my provider and that seemed to help, but lately it's been spotty again. Catchup hasn't worked in weeks, VOD still down...

I think i will also let my subscription expire next month and try to find a comparable replacement.
