Are there any set-up instructions. I can't seem to find anywhere within the app and the actual MAG Setting to allow access to the remote.

I'm creator of MAG250 Remote app.
Yes, it works with StbEmu Pro app as common MAG250.
It's required that both devices where MAG250 Remote app and StbEmu Pro app are launched in the same Wi-Fi network, or device with StbEmu Pro can be wired to the same router which gives Wi-Fi for smartphone with MAG250 Remote app.
Recently, I have issued an update for MAG250 Remote app and checked if it works with StbEmu Pro.

It's tricky at best. I had it working really well, had to reinstall STBemu and now it no longer works.
But basically you have the app and STB on same network, go into the STBEmu settings, go the remote control settings and you can set the password, then in the Mag app you pick the device from the list put in the password, and it should work.
