If the Roku app requires sideloading, it will be banned which means deleted and developer mode nuked on your device by account blacklist (evidently creating a new Roku account works.. for now). This is enforced since Dec 2017 on any 8.0.0 software device, or higher.

M3U Black and Red work, but they work with almost any provider which gives an M3U8 stream. No EPG, no VOD, no Catchup... but they will stream.
