I have a Samsung ks7000 a pretty high end TV with a fast processor and as a result Smart IPTV works fantastic, my question is would buying a mag 256 say be beneficial to me from a performance perspective, I like the epg guide on the mag also.
Any replies are appreciated 😀😊
Not all but many do.
Mag is more stable than the Smart IPTV app, but for the most users the app works great. The best with a box is catch-up service if your provider offer that :)

I have a mag256 which I'm trying to sell. I've recently ported over to an android box using StbEmu and I don't notice any difference. Its the same layout as the Mag and still works just as good.
Mag 256 processor is crap. It also has 500mb less than what the mag 254 has [which is laughable to say the least]. Also the EPG on the mag are pretty ancient and from a bygone era. Stick to your TV or get an android box.

If you’re happy with what you have its hard to say if you’ll be happy with something else. The Mag is simple and it works well. You streams won’t work better in the Mag, it would just be a different interface and the functionality might be better. Also don’t know if your TV app does Catchup or VOD but the Mag does, so that might be an upgrade.
