Its TV but on the internet, so without satellite. There are legal IPTVs like SlingTV and there are some IPTVs that are questionable.
The prices for the questionable IPTVs are a lot more cheaper and provide more channels than regular TV providers.
I got into IPTV when I was in college because my university didn't provide cable to watch TV and I was too broke to buy TV from a one of the big TV providers.
It's basically TV over the internet.
